Late spring finally come in Sapporo. The rapid transition of the spring season in northern Japan was surprising. Soon after the cherry blossoms bloomed, it was already early summer. Mt. Moiwa was covered with fresh green.
The snow at the top of Mt. Teine, near the Highland area, became small considerably. Like the clouds or cotton candy were floating, they were lovely.
Hoheikan was also surrounded by greenery and dressed for summer.
Willows around Shobuike Pond were also green and summery.
During the day, it was warm exceeding 20 degrees Celsius (about 70 F), so took a walk in Odori Park.
The lawn was also becoming lush and green.
Tulip Festival was underway in front of Red Brick Building, Former Hokkaido Government Office. The feelings were cheerful, too.
To Bisse Sweets. The weather was nice, so sat outside. Former Hokkaido Takushoku Bank (now North Pacific Bank) head office building was rebuilt here.
Wanted soft serve ice cream and pudding, so had a soft serve ice cream on the pudding, combining these two. Relaxing outdoors was pleasant, with an occasional fresh breeze passing through.
In the evening, relaxed with a beer on the balcony in early summer. The beginning of summer life in the northern country.
