帰国前日。PCR検査を受けに、デューク・カハナモク・ビーチから歩いてワイキキへ。さすが屈指のリゾート、平日にも関わらずたくさんのビーチパラソルが出ている。
The day before returning home, walked through Duke Kahanamoku Beach to Waikiki for the Covid test. As expected of one of the best resorts in the world, there were many beach parasols even on a weekday.
ポート・ヒルトン。アトランティスのボートが帰ってくる。こちらも乗客が絶えない。
Port Hilton. The Atlantis boat was returning. There was also a constant flow of passengers here as well.
フォート・デルッシー・ビーチに来るとビーチはもっと混んでいる。
When come to Fort DeRussy Beach, the beach was more crowded.
さらに進むと、ビーチパラソルがさらに増えてくる。
Further along, even more beach parasols were added.
ワイキキでPCR検査後は、ワイキキトロリーでホテルに戻り、ラナイからビーチを眺める。
After the Covid test in Waikiki, took a Waikiki Trolley back to the hotel and viewed the beach from the lanai.
少し前後するが、ハワイステイ最後のランチは、ホテルでポケご飯。オアフ最高のポケのひとつ(ワイキキトロリーのご機嫌なドライバーによる紹介）フードランドのアヒダイナマイト。アヒとポケソースとワサビのミックスのようだ。パクチーを添える。美味、ご飯がすすむ。
A little back and forth, the last lunch of the Hawaii stay was a poke meal at the hotel. One of Oahu's best poke (introduced by a grumpy Waikiki Trolley driver) was Foodland's Ahi Dynamite. It's like a mix of ahi, poke sauce and wasabi. Delicious, and the rice went well with ahi.
夕方になり陽が傾いてきた。
It was evening and the sun was setting.
満ち潮の波に乗るためサーファーが集まってきた。
Surfers gathered to ride the incoming waves.
大好きなビッグスウェルIPAと定番・ラクリマのシャルドネを。
The favorite Big Swell IPA and La Crema Chardonnay as usual.
最後のサンセットタイムを楽しみに、ヒルトンビーチへ。ダイアモンドヘッドが夕陽に染まる。
Went down to Hilton Beach for enjoying the last sunset time. Diamond Head was dyed by the setting sun.
海に夕陽が沈む。
The setting sun over the ocean.
ハワイ最後のディナーは、カカアコのファーマーズマーケットで購入したハワイ・ビーフのハンバーガーと、サーモンのポワレ。
The last dinner in Hawaii was a Hawaiian beef hamburger, purchased at a farmer's market in Kakaako, and salmon poitret.
