気温が上がった午後、「西屯田通り」を散策。山鼻屯田兵村の為に、東屯田通りと共に明治９年に設けられた道。戦後、行啓通と並び商店街として賑わった歴史がある。
因みに、昨年末に東屯田通りを散策した際は、ほぼ雪がなかった。

記録的な積雪と追いつかない除雪の為、非常に歩きにくく、蛇行する車に気を付けながら、かなり時間がかかる。雪国の大変さは暮らしてみないと分からない。
札幌市によると、西屯田通は南６〜南２１条、西１３丁目通りを指す。今回は南１条から歩く。まず目に入るのがスープカレー・ネイビーズ。スタイリッシュな雰囲気が漂う。
In the afternoon when the temperature rose, walked "Nishi-tonden Dori". It was built in 1876 along with Higashi-tonden Dori for Yamahana Tonden Military Village. There were busy shopping areas along with Gyokei Dori after the war.

Difficult to walk due to poor snow removal, and it took a long time to walk while watching out for snaking cars. Had to live in a snow country to understand how difficult it is.
According to Sapporo City, Nishi-Tunden Dori was Nishi 13-chome Dori from Minami 6 to 21-jo. This time, walked from Minami 1-jo. At Minami 1-jo was Soup Curry Navy. The atmosphere was stylish.
「喫茶つばらつばら」は、クラシックな雰囲気。
The coffee shop Tsubara Tsubara was located right on the street. Classic atmosphere.
南2条の角に蕎麦処・幣舞(ぬさまい)。釧路の幣舞町から命名されているらしい。
There was a soba, buckwheat noodle, shop called "Nusamai" at the corner of Minami 2jo. It seemed named after Kushiro's Nusamai-cho.
南4条「しげぱん」で、食パンやかまやつなどの美味しそうなパンを購入。その向こうにはスープカレーの「一灯庵」。
Shigepan, a bakery shop, in Minami 4jo. Bought some delicious looking bread such as white bread and croque-monsieur. Further down the street was Ittoan, a soup curry restaurant.
しげぱんの豆入りの食パンとカボチャパン。北海道のベーカリーは国産の小麦、小豆、牛乳、バターなどを使っており安心で美味しい。
Bread with beans and pumpkin bread from Shigepan. Hokkaido bakeries use domestic wheat, red beans, milk and butter, making it safe and delicious.

南７条には、札幌ラーメン第二世代の老舗、てつや本店がある。
In Minami 7-jo, there was the long-established Tetsuya Honten, the second generation of Sapporo Ramen.
その少し向こうにある「酒本商店」。吸い込まれるように中へ。良さそうな酒屋さんには必ず入ってしまうのが、お酒ラバーの習性。岐阜県から旭川郊外の東川町に移転した三千櫻酒造の生原酒を購入。
A little beyond the shops was Sakemoto Shoten. Went inside just as sucked in. As a sake lover, always end up in stopping by liquor stores that looked good. Bought a unpasteurized sake from the Mie Sakura Sake Brewery, which moved from Gifu Prefecture to Higashikawa-cho in the suburbs of Asahikawa.
南8条のきいろい種。自社農園を持つカフェ。

南9条通り近くの、「西屯田通りスープ本舗」。最近スープカレー店が気になる。北海道のＢ級グルメは層が厚く、興味深い。
Nishi-Tonden Dori Soup Honpo Shop near Minami 9jo Street. Interested in soup curry restaurants lately. Hokkaido's B-grade gourmet food was robust and very interesting.
南12条の畔田商店。豆腐の直売所だが営業終了。
The Kuroda Shoten in Minami 12jo. It was a direct tofu shop, but was closed today.
行啓通りを超えた南14条、カフェゆのん。早々に営業終了していた。雪の影響か。
Cafe Yunon in Minami 14jo, beyond Gyokei Dori. It was closed for business early. Maybe it was because of the snow.
帰りに見かけた、南14条西12丁目の在札幌ロシア連邦総領事館。屋上にはためくロシアの国旗。警察官が入口を守っている。ウクライナの事を考える、ウクライナに平和が来ることを。
On the way home, saw Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Sapporo at Minami 14-jo Nishi 12-chome. The Russian flag was fluttering on the roof. A police officer guarded the entrance. Thought about Ukraine, may peace come to Ukraine.
