Today took a stroll down Kuhio Avenue. The statue of King Kalakaua the Great standing at the entrance to Kuhio Avenue from Kalakaua Avenue.
Kuhio Avenue was a two-sided street.
The Ritz Carlton opened the entire buildings in 2018 and the surrounding area was developed and cleaned. Luxury residences with ocean views in every room.
Went to this casual Italian restaurant, Quiora, several times. Dean and Deluca was on the first floor of the Ritz Carlton. They had a reputation for their delicious sushi bento.
Next to it was Island Country Market. As the product line looked similar, it was operated by ABC Stores.
A large building housing International Market.
Zigu and Nachure Waikiki, two restaurants on Seaside Ave. Both were operated by Zetton from Japan. Nachure Waikiki in the French Hawaiian category, seemingly a young Japanese woman was the executive chef.
Sam's Kitchen was located on Royal Hawaiian Street. This is the restaurant by Sam Monaghan, who reported Hawaiian culture on TV.
Back to Kuhio Avenue and Dukes Lane. The shop also operated by ABC Stores. As walk around Waikiki, always see ABC Stores and Starbucks.

On the other side is Marukame Seimen. It's popular and there's always a line.
Lilia Waikiki, a new condominium complex, was under construction on Kanekapolei Street. It seemed an affordable housing for local residents. The monthly rent was $1473 for a studio and $1640 for a one-bed. There was an annual income limit.
Hilton Lagoon on the way home. A quiet evening today.
