Kaka'akoのFarmers Marketへ。土曜日の8時から12時まで開催。Makai側から。
Went to the Farmers Market in Kaka'ako. It was held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Started from the Makai side.
以前の場所からすこし西側に移動し、Mauka(山)側とMakai(海)側の２箇所に分かれている。
It moved a little to the west from the previous location, and is now divided into two sections, the Mauka (mountain) side and the Makai (ocean) side.
以前より規模、出店数、そして来客数も拡大した。
It expanded in size, number of stores, and number of visitors.
パスタが美味しい「オンダパスタ」も健在。今日はご主人が接客。コロナのせいかパスタプレートはやめて生パスタを売っている。
"Onda Pasta", with its delicious pasta, was going strong. The owner was serving customers today. Maybe because of Covid, they stopped selling pasta plates and now selling fresh pasta.
昨年ホノルル滞在時に購入した、ココナッツのヨーグルトも健在。
The coconut yogurt bought last year was going well.
コロナ直前のホノルル滞在時に購入したマカデミアナッツのクッキー屋さん。
A macadamia nut cookie shop that bought during the stay in Honolulu just before Corona.
前回も購入したマッシュルーム店。採れたてに新鮮なものが美味しい。
The mushroom store bought last year. The freshly picked ones were delicious.
Mauka側のマーケットに移動。
Moved to the Mauka side.
ここも盛況。それにしても人が多い。
This place was also very popular. Still, there were many people.
直射日光で暑い。マーケットには農産物店が多い。
It was hot with direct sunlight. There were many vegitable stores in the market.
Dean & Deluca も出店。ロイヤルハワイアンSC、リッツカールトンホテルに店舗がある。その向こうは農産物の店。
Dean & Deluca also opened a store. They had stores in the Royal Hawaiian SC and the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Beyond that was a vegitable store.
いつも購入するベーカリー「BAKER DUDES」。今回も朝食用にリリコイブレッドを購入。見るからにカロリー高め。
"BAKER DUDES", a bakery that always bought from. This time bought a lilikoi bread again for breakfast. The calorie count looked high.
オノ・シーフードもポケを売っていた。元々はカパフルアベニューの店。
Ono Seafood was also selling poke. It was originally located on Kapahulu Ave.
ビッグアイランド産のアワビも。
And abalone from the Big Island.
「OMA'O MAN」のグリーンスムージーを並んで購入。日本のテレビ番組でも紹介されて大人気。
Stood in line to buy a green smoothie from "OMA'O MAN". It was introduced on a TV program and was very popular.
中には、ケール、ベビースピナッチ、ミント、バナナやマンゴーまで盛りだくさん。もちろん無農薬のもの。接客のスタッフの隣で、厨房スタッフが家庭用のミキサーで一生懸命作っていた。
Inside, a lot of kale, baby spinach, mint, and even bananas and mangoes. All pesticide-free, of course. Next to the staff serving customers, a kitchen staff was hard at work with a household blender.
帰って頂く。美味しくてヘルシーなハワイの味。
Had it when get home. A delicious and healthy taste of Hawaii.
