3日は箱根駅伝の復路。偶然、芝・増上寺の前で駅伝第2位の順天堂大学の選手に出会った。
January 3rd was the return day of the Hakone Ekiden. By chance, met a runner of Juntendo University, the second place finisher of the Ekiden, in front of Zojoji Temple in Shiba.
力強い走り。
A powerful run.
1位の駒澤大学は10分以上前に通り過ぎていたらしい。
Apparently the first place winner, Komazawa University, had passed by more than 10 minutes ago.
朝は、成城石井のキャラメルマリトッツォ。
In the morning, had a Caramel Marituzzo from Seijo Ishii Supermarket.
お近所さんに頂いた蜜柑入りヨーグルトと。
With yogurt with mandarin oranges that the neighbors gave.
サラダ。
Salad.
夕刻ホノルルに向かい成田国際空港へ。
日本人以外は原則入国禁止という厳格な入国管理が行われているが、出国は、海外に帰る人達で思ったより混み合っている。
Arrived at Narita International Airport in the evening for the flight to Honolulu. Strict immigration control policy was in place, prohibiting non-Japanese from entering the country in principle, but the airport was more crowded than expected with people going back overseas.
久しぶりに見る国際空港。

綺麗な夕陽。
Beautiful sunset.
６時間飛行するとホノルルの灯りが見えてきた。とても近い。
After six hours of flying, could see the lights of City of Honolulu. It was so close.
ダニエルイノウエ空港の入国はとてもスムース。どこかの国とは大違い。朝のマジックアイランドを散歩。
Entry at Daniel Inouye Airport was very smooth. Very different from some other country. A morning walk around Magic Island.
気持ちの良い朝のビーチ。
A pleasant morning at the beach.
ニーマンマーカスのカフェへ。BLTロール。
Went to Neiman Marcus café and had a BLT roll.
カプレーゼのパニーニも。
And a caprese panini.
