所用で札幌から京都へ。新千歳空港を発ち伊丹空港へ。離陸するとすぐ右側に、先週行った支笏湖支笏湖三山が見える。左から白い樽前山、右側が恵庭岳。支笏湖の向こうに見えるのは羊蹄山か。

Went to Kyoto from Sapporo on business.  Left New Chitose Airport for Itami Airport.  As soon as took off, could see Lake Shikotsu and the three major mountains of Shikotsuko on the right.  From the left was the white Mt. Tarumaesan, and on the right was Mt. Mt. Eniwadake.  Mt. Yoteizan beyond Lake Shikotsu.

最近は機内でも「フライトレーダー24」で自機や他機の航路や便名がすぐ分かる。日本海上空を1時間半ほど飛行し大阪上空に。

These days, could easily find out the routes and flight numbers of the own and other planes with the "Flight Radar 24" on board.   Flew over the Sea of Japan for an hour and a half to reach Osaka.

伊丹空港の着陸前には大阪と奈良の県境の生駒山を通過する。山の上に近づきながら一気に高度を下げていくのは、マウイのカフルイ空港や旧香港啓徳空港への着陸のよう。

Before landing at Itami Airport, passed by Mt. Ikoma, the border between Osaka and Nara prefectures.  As approached the top of the mountain, the altitude dropped quickly, just like landing at Kahului Airport in Maui or the former HK Kaitak Airport.

夕方は六条新町の名店「招福亭」へ。地元に愛されている美味しいお蕎麦屋さん。

In the evening, went to the popular restaurant "Shofukutei" in Rokujo Shinmachi.  The delicious soba noodle restaurant loved by the locals.

天とじ丼と冷たい茶蕎麦。丼も蕎麦も出汁が効いて柔らかい。

Tentojidon rice bowl and tea soba noodles.  Both the rice bowl and the soba noodles were tasty with the gentle soup stock.

親子丼と冷たい茶蕎麦。味もサービスも雰囲気も全て素晴らしい。ご馳走さまでした。

Oyakodon rice bowl and tea soba noodles.  The taste, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Thanks for the meal.

食後、旧六条通りを東に向かう。途中東本願寺越しに京都タワーが。京都に帰ってきたなという実感。

After the early dinner, headed east along the old Rokujo Dori.  On the way, saw Kyoto Tower over Higashi Honganji Temple.  Felt back in Kyoto.

烏丸通を渡り、六条通の「タキモト」へ。日本酒の品揃えが豊富。

Crossed Karasuma Dori and went to "Takimoto" on Rokujo Dori.  They had a wide selection of sake.

京丹後の木下酒造の「玉川」を。初めて勧められ購入したのが京都のタキモト、次が旭川の酒守蔵、そして今回また京都で。クセになる飲み心地。こちらの杜氏は以前に大門酒造でも修行していたらしい。

Bought "Tamagawa" from Kinoshita Shuzo Brewry in Kyotango.  First bought it on a recommendation at Takimoto in Kyoto, then at Shumozo in Asahikawa, and now again in Kyoto.  Very addictive sake.  Heard their master brewer was trained at Daimon Brewry before.
