(Sapporo-97/Honoji)日本美味しいもの巡り Japan delicious food and wine tour

初冬の札幌へ。向かったのは、南14条電車通りの「ほの路」。料理が美味しく北のさいはて感も楽しめる名店。

Went to Sapporo in the early winter.  Visited "Honoji" on Minami 14jo on the streetcar street.  A famous bar where can enjoy delicious foods and an atmosphere of the farthest north place.

お通しの茶碗蒸しから。夏は冷たく、秋冬は温かい。いつもの味にほっとしながら、メニューを決める楽しい時間。

Steamed egg custard as an appetizer.  Cold in summer and warm in winter.  A fun time to choose from the menu while being relieved by the usual taste.

お酒は、高知の銘酒「酔鯨」から。

First sake "Suigei" (drunken whale), a famous sake from Kochi.

ボリュームも味も満足のポテトサラダ。

A potato salad satisfied both in volume and taste.

そしてここで絶対に外せない、ぬか漬け。

Then the must-have, nukazuke pickles.

これも外せないアスパラガスのバター炒め。火の通り具合と塩の塩梅が絶妙。

Another dish couldn't miss was fried asparagus in soy sauce and butter.  The degree of cooking and the saltiness were perfect.

メニューではバツが付いていたが実はあったたち(たらの白子)の天ぷら。添えられた粗塩が嬉しい。新鮮でホクホク、無言で食べてしまう。

Tachi (cod milt) Tempura, which was marked with a "not available" on the menu but was actually available.  The sea salt on the side was a nice touch.  It was fresh and juicy, and ate it without saying a word.

酒が進み、ここで新潟の「久保田」へ。

Had another sake, "Kubota" from Niigata.

大ファンの鶏のザンギ。これも火の通り具合が絶妙。夜も更けてきたので、この辺でお開きに。相変わらず全ての味がビシッと決まり、唸るお料理、ご馳走さまでした。

A big fan of chicken zangi.  It was also cooked perfectly.  Getting late in the evening, so had to go home.  As usual, all the flavors were well and the foods were amazing.

1か月ぶりの札幌滞在が始まった。今回は家の中の整理。暖かくして寝よう。

Started the first stay in Sapporo in a month.  This time going to organize the home.  Would get warm and go to bed.
