Chukondo was the central building of Kofukuji. It was reconstructed in 2018 according to Kofukuji Improvement Plan.
Before the sun went down, went to Yakushiji Temple. View of East Pagoda (right) and West Pagoda (left) over the large pond. East Pagoda was built in the Nara period (710-794), a national treasure, its renovation was completed in 2020. Because of the Covid, the inauguration ceremony has not been held yet.
