For breakfast on the last day of the stay in Sapporo, chose a pear maritozzo from Sapporo Grand Hotel. The tea cream collaborated with Lupicia is excellent. How many did buy during the stay this time?
Arrived at New Chitose Airport. Checked in early and went to "Sapporo Hien", a ramen restaurant in Gourmet World. It was an affiliate of the famous "Garyu Mennu Hien" in Nakanoshima, Sapporo. It was recommended by an acquaintance.
A Michelin-starred restaurant famous for its salt ramen. It seems the seafood and chicken white soup were reputed to be delicious. Ramen is the core food in Sapporo.
Miso ramen. The soup was based on seafood and chicken, and had a good balance of miso and flavor.
Salt soup ramen. It was a rich and elegant soup with seafood and chicken flavor that complements the saltiness. Drank it all up.
There was a middle-aged couple nearby who were loudly claiming that the salt ramens did not taste salty enough. There seemed some people who didn't enjoy the taste of a soup with more umami flavor with less salt.
Returned to Tokyo. From the north county in early autumn, returned back to summer. Enjoyed croquettes and beers on the rooftop in the pleasant evening breeze.
In the evening, had "Reirou" from "Sasaki Shuzo Brewery" in Miyagi Prefecture, bought at the liquor store nearby.
Next, a Chardonnay from Red Tail Ridge Winery in NY Finger Lakes. Purchased on a NY winery tour.
"Au Bon Vieux Temps"' volaille (chicken) liver mousse and volaille pate. These were the favorites.
Visited Red Tail Ridge Winery in Finger Lakes, NY at the end of 2019, before Covid. Covid has been lasting for two years now.
