Today went on a tour of the beautiful sceneries in Biei. First, went to "Shirogane Aoike" (blue pond), which became one of the most popular tourist spots in Biei. At the last visit, it was snowing and the pond was only white, but today it was a beautiful blue pond. It suddenly became well known about ten years ago when it was used as wallpaper on Mac computers. Now there were a toll parking lot, souvenir stores, and a lot of people.
A fantastic blue pond with a view of Mt. Tokachi.
Next, went to the patchwork-like "Shikino Oka" (four seasons hill). At this time of the year, there are flowers such as Cockscomb and Marigold. In the distance was the Tokachi mountain range.
Mt. Asahidake of Daisetyzan Mountains in the distance.
The hills of Biei were a nostalgic landscape for some reason.
Mt. Asahidake as seen from the Seven Stars tree.
In the evening, went to "Jiyuken", a famous Western-style restaurant in Asahikawa.
Goro set. Freshly fried crab cream croquettes and fried hokke (Okhostk Atka mackerel). Goro refers to Inokashira Goro.
This is sauteed pork. The pork and onions were sweet and very delicious. Thank you for the meal.
Went outside to "Heiwadori Shopping Park". A beautiful moon in the direction of Asahikawa Station.
