On a sunny morning, homemade sandwiches and Earl Grey milk tea. Eggs and ham and cheese. Yogurt with homemade raspberry jam.
Sapporo was in a pleasant season. Went for a walk in Sapporo again today. The autumn sky was high.
Had a late lunch at "Nemuro Hanamaru", a very popular casual sushi restaurant. The fact that they originated from Nemuro was emphasized. There are other major sushi restaurants in Hokkaido, such as "Triton" from Kitami and "Nagoyakatei" from Kushiro, but only Nemuro Hanamaru had the location in downtown Sapporo, and seemed well accepted by a wide range of customers.
Salmon, double (two) scallops on each, and crab salad. The crab salad syshi was good.
Kelp marinated hirame, Torotaku, and Seared Engawa.
Seafood salad, red salmon roe marinated in soy sauce, and red clams. Very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
In the building next door, "Kinotoya Cafe" and "Machimura Farm" were co-located, typical of Hokkaido. The Machimura family is a political family, having produced a former Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Soft ice cream from Kinotoya Cafe for dessert.
View from the Sapporo Station Building towards Nakajima Park in the south. Sapporo's The Magnificent Mile through Susukino, known for the Nikka Whisky's "bearded man", and Oodori Park.
In the evening, hone made cream pasta with Oji smoked salmon, ham, and mitsuba, topped with boiled corn, with Kerner (white) bought at Yoichi Ochigabi Winery . Enjoyed all the ingredients produced in Hokkaido.
Stay home in Sapporo under the declaration of emergency. Hope it will be settled soon.
