札幌駅大丸店地下のタピオカティー専門店「ジアレイ」へ。

Went to "The Alley", a tapioca tea shop in the basement of Daimaru at Sapporo Station.

黒糖タピオカラテをラージサイズで。黒糖の自然な甘さが美味しい。

Had a large brown sugar tapioca latte.  The natural sweetness of the brown sugar was delicious.

久しぶりに「ケルン本店」からチーズフォンデュをテイクアウト。前回ニトリで購入したチーズフォンデュ鍋を今回も利用。

It's been a while since took out cheese fondue from "Cairn Honten".  This time used the cheese fondue pot bought at Nitori last time.

ケルン本店のチーズフォンデュのレシピに、さらにチーズやワインを追加。好みなのでニンニクも少し加え、さらに美味しくなった。北国の爽やかな夏には、フォンデュ鍋も良く合う。

Added more cheese and wine to the recipe by Cairn Honten.  Also added a bit of garlic to make it even more delicious.  Cheese fondue went well with the refreshing summer weather in the northland.

合わせたのは帰りに近くのSecomaで購入したG7シャルドネ・レゼルバ。あちこちのSecomaで買えるし、安定した美味しさでどんなお料理にも合わせやすい為、特にコロナ禍での巣篭もり生活の心強い味方。

Paired it with a G7 Chardonnay Reserva that bought at a nearby Secoma store on the way home.  It's available at Secoma here and there, and its consistent taste makes it easy to pair with any dish, making it a great ally, especially when holed up in Corona.

帰りに札幌グランドホテルのスイーツショップでマリトッツォを購入。カヌレも提供しておりローマとボルドーが一緒に味わえる、さすが老舗の名店。

On the way home, bought some Maritozzo at the sweets shop of Sapporo Grand Hotel.  They also served cannellés, so could taste both Rome and Bordeaux together, which was indeed a long-established and famous hotel.

マリトッツォ桃。東京・代官山から北海道・ニセコに本社を移転した紅茶専門店Lupiciaと、札幌グランドホテルのコラボらしい。ラム酒がほのかに香る、甘さが絶妙な紅茶クリームと桃とブリオッシュとの組み合わせが贅沢な逸品。素晴らしいコラボ。他にも種類があり、次回また頂きたい。ご馳走さまでした。

Maritozzo peaches.  This was apparently a collaboration between Lupicia, a tea store that moved the headquarters from Daikanyama, Tokyo to Niseko, Hokkaido, and Sapporo Grand Hotel.  The combination of sweet black tea cream with a hint of rum, peaches, and brioche was a luxurious treat.  A wonderful collaboration.   There were other types, so would like to have them again next time.  Thank you very much for the meal.
