Went to Manza Beach in Onna Village. It was another sunny day.
Beaches in Okinawa were already open, with the opening in late March or April, and ending in late October. Because of dangerous sea creatures such as habu jellyfish, the swimming areas are enclosed with safety nets, so can swim without worrying about any jellyfish. The beaches in Main Island have no nets, so by the end of July, they become full of jellyfishes, and can't swim safe. Okinawa is the place to go for a relaxing swim.
To Sesoko Beach. The beach seemed not open yet, and there was no safety net set up.
Iyejima Island was seen in front. This remote island has an unique small mountain called Gusukuyama, or I-Touchu.
On the way back, stopped by "Captain Kangaroo", a popular hamburger and taco rice restaurant. The restaurant used to be located near Nago City, but moved to Motobu-cho along Route 58, about 10 kilometers north of Nago, last October. The Nago branch now specializes in taco rices. The new Motobu branch has a more visible CAPTAIN sign and a larger parking lot.
A beautiful new restaurant. Took out a Mexican Taco Burger and a Sparky Burger.
On the way back, passed by "Captain Kangaroo Taco Rice", a restaurant specializing in okinawan taco rice.
After dinner, relaxed with a welcome drink at the hotel.
