It was forecast to rain today, but could see some clear sky in the morning in Niseko. Mt. Yoteizan in early winter was seen beautifully in the morning sun.
Breakfast at the hotel. Vegetable first.
Omelets with cheese, mashroom and everything.
Enjoyed other foods little by little.
Crab rice is also coming.
Yogurt served with banana sauce and mango sauce. This yogurt has little sourness and is creamy and delicious, as expected in Hokkaido. A healthy and relaxing breakfast.
Recommended by a hotel manager, went to the east side of Mt. Yoteizan and to Fukidashi (water spring) Park in Kyogoku, which was designated as one of Japan's 100 Excellent Natural Waters (1985) by the Ministry of the Environment.
Ultra-soft water from the melted snow of Mt. Yoteizan, which has been filtered, purified and gushed out after decades. Purchased Kyogoku puddings at a coffee shop on the banks of the pond.
Delicious puddings with an intermediate texture between the smooth type with fresh cream and the custard type that hardens with egg yolk. Hokkaido is rich in dairy products.
Went back to the west side of Mt. Yoteizan. Niseko is an international resort that has been developed due to its popularity with Australian skiers. In the Hirafu area, which is popular for Australians, many hotels with Western-style designs and stylish condominiums are built. Niseko's real estate information is English only.
Recently, the Asian investors are increasing. Development of the hotels for wealthy customers is progressing by Singaporean capital in the Hirafu area, by Malaysian capital (who owns Niseko Village) in the Higashiyama area, and by Chinese capital as well.
Dinner at the hotel. Welcome drinks of Cabernet Sauvignon (red) and Sauvignon Blanc (white).
Nicoise-style salad. Vegetables from Niseko farms are delicious.
Pork saute from the neighboring Makkari village.
US beef steak.
Took a walk on the adjacent golf course (closed in mid-October this term), and in the evening, relax in the hot springs. It was a good day.
