白金・シェラトン都ホテルの中華「四川」へ。

台風が近づいており生憎の雨天。

To the Chinese restaurant "Szechuan" at Sheraton Miyako Hotel in Shirokanedai.
A typhoon was approaching and it was raining.

大きな窓が雨に煙る濃い緑の庭園に面した明るい店。

四川名物「麻婆豆腐」にメインがもう一つ付く軽めのランチコースに。

A lunch course with an additions main dish to the Szechuan's famous "Mapo tofu".

前菜とスープ。豚肉と木耳の辛子和え。スープには少量ワカメが入り、スパイシーな四川料理を前に、とても優しい味。

Appetizer and soup.  Spicy sautéed pork and wood ear mushrooms.  The soup contains a small amount of wakame seaweed and has a gentle and comfortable taste before moving to spicy Szechuan cuisines.

メイン1、ベビーホタテとむかごのオイスターソース炒め。オイスターソースが隠し味となり素材の味が引き立つ。むかごを食べたのはいつ以来だろう。以前盛岡辺りの道の駅で勧められて買い、炊込みご飯にしたような。

Main 1, stir-fried baby scallops and propagules in oyster sauce.  The oyster sauce serves as a subtle spice and enhances the taste of the ingredients.  Propagules are not popular ingredients and don't remember when had them last time.  Maybe bought it with recommended at a roadside store in Morioka before and made it into cooked rice.

メイン2、豚肉と南瓜の四川風辛子炒め。甘辛で、四川らしく次第に味が濃くなってきた。

Main 2, stir-fried pork and squash with Szechuan-style peppers.  It is sweet and spicy, and the tastes gradually became stronger like most Szechuan foods.

そして麻婆豆腐。四川料理の極みの一つ。

And mapo tofu.  One of the best of Szechuan cuisines.

明るい店内と美味しい中華料理、てきぱきしたクオリティの高い気持ちの良いサービス。

今月から始まった「Go To Eat」プログラムの対象となったせいもあるのか、次々と予約客が訪れ、常時ほぼ満席でちょうど良い程度の活気がある快適な時間だった。

Bright restaurant rooms, delicious Chinese foods, and prompt and high-quality services.
Perhaps because of the high-quality restaurant, or because of the government's  "Go To Eat" subsidization program that started this month, guests with reservations came one after another.  The restaurant was almost full at all times, and it was a comfortable time with an appropriate level of liveliness.
