At Ise Jingu shrine, "Shikinen Sengu", the scrap and build ceremony, has been repeated every 20 years for over 1300 years since Emperor Tenmu enacted during the Asuka period and next Empress Jito stated in 690. Thought the previous ceremony took place just few years ago, but in reality it was seven years ago. The next ceremony is approaching 13 years later.
Isuzu River is always pure and can feel refreshed.

A stone in the middle of the stairs leading from the main shrine to the Aramatsuti no Miya shrine, which is said not to be stepped on. There are various theories such as because it is a stone that has fallen from heaven, because there are cracks in the shape of people and heaven, or because the center is the path for God.

Lunch is at Toyo ken head branch, a long-established Western restaurant in Tsu. Almost full just after 11 o'clock.
"Toyo ken" was established as a beef pot restaurant "Imafuku" in Mita, Tokyo in 1889, and with requests from politicians of the Meiji government it opened a Western style restaurant "Toyo ken" in 1897. This restaurant, along with Seiyo ken, has been leading the western food industry in Japan. Its opened a remote branch in Tsu City, then with the Toyo ken brand, the branch became independent.
Ordered "Lunch courses" with "black curry" and "with 3 kinds of dessert".
Potage soup with potatoes.
Roast pork. Soft and melting texture. Spanish omelet is served together.
Black curry rice. Mild Western-style curry.
3 kinds of dessert. Banana tart, pudding and Maccha green tea ice cream are all delicious.
On the way back, stopped by Tsu's butcher shop "Asahiya". In addition to that Matsusaka beef is sold at a low price by large volume here, many local customers come to buy Matsuzaka beef so the shop was very crowded. Mie people really love eels and beef.
