A pleasant morning at the Ise resort "Saiou no Miya". Heavy rain from yesterday and the days before stopped and the sun becomes slightly shining.
Come to the breakfast and enjoy first box, second box and soy milk tofu. A breakfast with a lot of small items like this maybe good sometimes.
After the breakfast, relax in the jacuzzi on the balcony.
Departed from Saiou no Miya and headed to Ise Grand Shrine, the main purpose of this trip. First, worship Geku, the outer shrine (Toyouke Daishingu), the first visit in seven months since New Year's Day, and feel braced up.
The Geku shrine enshrines "Toyouke Omikami, the god". Toyodake Omikami controls the meal of "Amaterasu Omikami the god" in the inner shrine, and thus Geku is the important shrine especially for food-related people. There are also many power spots. First, visited Geku's main shrine.
Then to Geku's Betsugu, the first annex shrine, "Taganomiya". It enshrines the rough spirit of Toyouke Omikami, the same god as the main shrine, and is said more responsive to prayers.
Then worshiped Naiku, the inner shrine.
Ujibashi Bridge, the entrance to the inner shrine, over Isuzu River. Thr bridge is said to connect the daily world to the sacred world, and walk and cross it, prople enter the sanctuary of Ise Shrine.
Even though it had rained every day, the water was clear and beautiful in Isuzu River, so could wash the heart.

"Aramatsurinomiya", the first anex shrine of the inner shrine. It enshrines the rough spirit of Amaterasu Omikami the god and is said to make people feel more power here.
After the worship to Ise Jingu shrine, went to the Unagi eel restaurant nearby. Mie Prefecture, ie. Tsu City, is known with its highest eel consumption per capita, so there are many high quality Unagu eel restaurants. Chose "Unagi Zen". This is the second time visit, so not get lost, but the road down to the restaurant along the Miyagawa river is still narrow, winding and steep, which makes quite difficult to reach. A quaint restaurant house appears along the Miyagawa river.
The store interior is simple and the view of Miyagawa river is relaxing. There are many Unagi eel lovers in the restaurant.

Unagi eel grilled in Nagoya-style, where its skins are firm roasted, and rice in "Unagi Zen" style, where rice is deeply mixed with Unagi soy sauce. Can only say it is delicious. Definitely all Unagi lovers should enjoy Unagi here. Great satisfaction.
Then headed to Kyoto.
